We'll Make It Right

Didn't get paid for a job you accepted? If the customer cancels, no-shows, or the job doesn't happen for any reason — email info@quickhotwater.com and we'll work with you to make it right. You're only meant to pay for jobs you actually complete.

If a job falls through: email us the job ID (shown in your dashboard) and a brief note on what happened. We'll review it and follow up with you directly.

Bid Fee

The standard bid fee is $150, charged at the moment you accept a job. Founding members receive one complimentary first bid — no charge on that acceptance.

The bid fee is not a commission — it is a one-time access fee to claim the job and receive the customer's contact information. You collect payment directly from the customer; QuickHotWater.com does not take a percentage of the job.

Your Reprice Authority

The price the customer agreed to is a marketplace estimate based on declared conditions. If the actual on-site conditions differ — different tank location, unexpected access issues, materials not covered in the original scope — you may adjust the price before any work begins. Discuss the adjustment with the customer first; they have the right to decline, in which case our make-it-right commitment applies.

Credential Requirements

QuickHotWater.com accepts bids from licensed and insured plumbers only. You must hold a valid master plumber license in the state where work is performed, and carry general liability insurance covering at least $1,000,000 per occurrence. You self-certify these credentials; we verify the license number you provide before activating your account. If your license or insurance lapses, notify us immediately — continued use of the platform while unlicensed or uninsured is grounds for immediate removal.

Same-Fuel Replacements Only

QuickHotWater.com is a replacement marketplace. Jobs are like-for-like tank replacements with the same fuel type. Fuel conversions (gas ↔ electric) and repairs are not in scope. If a dispatched job turns out to require a fuel conversion, decline it — do not reprice it as a conversion.
